The brief
WebGL experiment — halftone shading driven by audio peaks.
Working as Creative coding for Self‑initiated. Built with Three.js, GLSL.
What I made
This is placeholder body text for Halftone. In the real write‑up I'd walk through the problem, the constraints, the design decisions, and the things that broke at 2am. For now, treat this as a layout study — it's here to make the typography sing.
The best work happens at the seam between what looks right and what compiles.
Process
- Sketch the problem on paper, badly.
- Pull it into Figma until the system feels stable.
- Translate to code, breaking the design as needed.
- Ship, watch users, iterate.
Notes
- Color, motion, and copy are all part of the same surface.
- Density matters. Whitespace is not a luxury, it's information.
- The best component is the one you didn't have to build.
